In celebration of your 45th reunion year, the class of 1980 has the exciting opportunity to leave its mark at Dickinson’s John M. Paz ‘78 Alumni & Family Center. A state-of-the-art outdoor kitchen is currently under construction at the Paz Center. The reunion committee invites you to join them in raising $80,000, with a donation of any amount, to fund and name this beautiful new space in honor of your class. An astounding $50,000 has been raised so far, and we hope to raise the remaining $30,000 from the class of 1980 on Day of Giving!
The Class of 1980 Outdoor Kitchen will be a permanent structure on the grounds of the Paz Center and will transform the backyard into a versatile area for events, from casual get-togethers to formal gatherings, enriching the experience for all who visit.
Features of the space include:
- Granite countertops
- Electric and natural gas hookups
- Natural gas grill and exhaust hood
- Hydrid wood/natural gas pizza oven
- 30” natural gas griddle
- Storage cabinets with LED lighting
- Mini refrigerator
This project is not just about bricks and mortar; it’s about creating a vibrant, welcoming space where not only our class, but all alumni and future generations of Dickinsonians can gather, celebrate, and create memories. Through this opportunity, your class can leave a lasting legacy that reflects your commitment to Dickinson and its future.
